Gopher is one lucky kitty. We don?t really know how he came to be a street cat, he is loving and obviously someone cared about him once, but when we agreed to take him in, some of the neighbors where he was trying to survive were going to shoot him. A little girl was so distraught and begged us to help him. When he came in, he looked so skinny and sickly that we wouldn?t even let him around the other animals and took him immediately to the vet figuring that he was not going to make it. It turned out that he had a severe mouth infection and was literally starving to death. He was truly within days of not being able to make it back, but as you can see he is back, healthy, happy and ready for someone to give him a new furrever home. He loves people and gets along well with other animals. He just needed a chance and now he needs a home. DOB xxxx ADOPTION AND SPONSOR DONATIONS help pay for emergency vet bills, shots, worming, spaying/neutering, food, shelter and monthly prevention. Some animals require more money and time from sicknesses or some are unadoptable and need care for life. The Sanctuary needs all the donations an animal is able to bring in as the money is used for ALL the animals to provide the above services. While vet care is provided at reduced rates thanks to generous vets that work with us, it still is expensive!
